The waves are rolling in and this little sun-tanned girl can't take a chance on getting her pretty white dress wet as she wades in the surf.  This project is done using Prismacolor Nupastels and Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils or General's Pastel Pencils. The Nupastels and the pastel pencils are considered a hard pastels. They are available in art stores. If you don't have a store near you, there are many online art stores. The surface is a 8"x10" piece of Canson Mi-Teintes paper. This packet includes complete step-by-step instructions, a line drawing, photo, and a value map. If you have never tried pastels but have always wanted to, this may be the project for you.
